Fun filled relaxing weekend

So this weekend started off pretty great. jesse and i got to spend some time together which was great since i have been working over full time at my new clinical site and havent gotten to see her this week. We decided to have a quiet evening just having dinner and going to see a movie together. We hit mission grove theaters at about 1045 pm which was fantastic because there was no one there. we saw We're the millers which was a really good and funny movie i suggest everyone goes to see it! i love spending the weekend nights with my wife just being lazy and doing easy going things.

On saturday jesse had work in the morning so i thought it would be a nice time to spend the day with my mom. We went out to eat at bj's where jesse works so we got to see her. We normally have her as our waitress but we were so lucky this time. After lunch my mom and i went out shopping around at some stores which of course was a really fun way to get out of the house on such a nice day. my mom is a pretty funny character she doesnt really like getting her picture taken lol.

Saturday night jesse got off early which was nice. We decided to get some dinner and go for a strole at the new sycamore highland park. We took remy so she could get out too. The park is actually really nice because its high up and you can see all the riverside lights on one side and all the moreno valley lights on the other side. The 3 of us just walked around and enjoyed eachothers comapany while looking at the beautiful lights. It was a rather calming night which im beginning to like more and more. I think im over the party and drinking scene to be honest. just spending time with my family makes me very happy.

Sunday i decided to relax and stay in bed all day, but of course my mom hates staying at home all day so she came asking if i wanted to go shopping. Of course i said yes. we went to walmart because they were having a sale and jesse and i have been looking for new things for our new room! i found a bunch of cute things! i cant wait till we get in there. after walmart we went to fridays and enjoyed lunch. It was a nice peaceful day and a nice peaceful weekend!
